EOV Denim

One of our bread & butter collections is our denim line.  I get so excited when we find that perfect pair to bring in.  We look for all different washes in fits that speak to todays trends, as well as timeless everyday denim.  There are kinda 4 categories we work with, our Raw Hem Jeans, a more traditional Mom Jean style, and then the odd Novelty pair of jeans that don't fit in the other two categories, and of course the sub category of our sought after cutoff denim shorts. 

 We've developed a bit of a sizing chart, but will admit that it isn't 100% correct all the time for every pair of jeans.  Sizing and fits change so much from brand to brand, and even within a style or cut over the years, that we utilize this size chart as a starting off point. We recommend trying bigger sizes to allow for the fabric having little to no stretch, as most vintage jeans are made with raw denim.

Which is a great segway as to why we haven't been putting any of our denim collections online.  I find shopping for jeans to be quite vulnerable and intimate.  Jeans have been known to be a troublesome item for women over the years, and shopping vintage denim would seem to even more still. I know for me personally, growing up being the tallest girl in the class that I use to struggle with jeans (well pants in general) and constantly not finding anything long enough.  My self esteem was hit by it, so thank goodness ankle lengths became in style quickly! Since then, I've gotten more used to the hunt for jeans, and even in my own closet, I only have 2 pairs of vintage denim that took a long time to acquire.  It is possible we'll put some on our website eventually, but still working on the best way to get the details of each pair across to the customer.  

Anyways, Finding the perfect pair of vintage denim is a journey, sometimes a long one.  Trial and error, and being open to different sizing then what you are used to.  But that needle is in the haystack waiting for you.
